Why do I need a Will?
Everyone with assets of any sort should have a Will – it’s that simple.
Many of us go through life assuming that our loved ones will automatically inherit everything upon our death, not realising that this may be very far from the truth if we don’t make a Will.
It doesn’t matter how clearly you made your wishes known in advance. If they’re not in a Will, they won’t count. Very simply, having a Will enables you to protect the ones you love and protect your assets, making sure they go where you want them to after you are gone.

Heir Tight Wills don’t write generic ‘one size fits all’ Wills – we visit you in the comfort of your own home or office, at a time to suit you, to answer any questions you may have, advise you on the relevant aspects of this complex legal area in relation to your specific circumstances, and take your instructions. We then draft comprehensive, individually tailored Wills and supporting documents that will protect the ones you love, and protect your assets after your death.
If you die without a will …
If you die without a Will (dying ‘Intestate’) your assets will pass via the Rules of Intestacy set out by the Government; which may see your spouse being forced to sell the family home, or your unmarried partner having to take your estate to Court, and your loved ones struggling financially for months if not years until your estate is sorted – something you would never want them to go through.

A 2007 report by the National Consumer Council found that almost 70% of people die without a Will, having tragic effects on the people they leave behind. The good news is that Heir Tight Wills can ensure your family will be spared any nasty surprises upon your death.
If your will is invalid …
Just as shockingly, of those people that do have Wills, 28% of their Wills – more than 1 in 4 – are found to be invalid on their death – normally because they have been poorly drafted, have not been signed or witnessed correctly, or have not been kept updated.
To ensure this does not happen to you, for anybody who has an existing Will; we offer a FREE AUDIT of your Will to ensure it is valid, and will do what you need it to, for the ones you love.
We don’t just write generic ‘one size fits all’ Wills – we visit you in your own home or office, at a time to suit you, to answer any questions you may have, and advise you on every conceivable aspect of this complex legal area with regard to your specific circumstances.
